The European Game Executives’ Summit (EGES) was established in autumn 2006 when a group of chief executives met in Mallorca (Spain) - far away from journalists and deadline pressure - to discuss key topics of their trade. It has since become an established format in the digital game industry, with the number of participants increasing steadily from one year to the next.
Last year, Aruba Events was celebrating the Summit’s 10th anniversary by adding two new locations: Germany and the USA. Last February Warnemünde (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) has been host of EGES Germany, this year we will hold our meetings in Krefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Next to the recreation park Elfrather See, German game business executives will have the opportunity for an insiders’ discussion on relevant industry issues. In the evening they will dine and network together in an informal atmosphere.
The rules have been the same since 2006:
- no journalists
- only senior- and executive-level participants
- ample time to discuss all current industry topics
- and most importantly: Any business insights gathered at EGES are not to be shared with the public!
